It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the 42nd Philippine Society of Oncologists, Inc. Annual Convention and Best of ASCO® Philippines 2026.

This year’s theme, “Bridging Breakthroughs: Translating Global Oncology Advances Into Real-World Practice,” reflects our commitment to transforming the latest scientific discoveries into meaningful improvements in patient care. As oncology continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, our greatest challenge is no longer simply keeping up with innovation—but ensuring that these advances are thoughtfully adapted and effectively implemented within our own healthcare landscape.

Over the course of two inspiring days, we will revisit the most practice-changing presentations from the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO®) Annual Meeting, highlighting landmark clinical trials, emerging therapies, and evolving standards of care across all major disease sites. More importantly, we will explore how these global advances can be translated into practical, evidence-based strategies that improve outcomes for Filipino patients through multidisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and patient-centered care.
