Objectives:

  1. To reinforce the application of updated multidisciplinary clinical practice guidelines in oncology, based on ASCO, ESMO, ASTRO, ESTRO, and ECCO recommendations.

  2. To challenge participants in answering evidence-based questions representing different specialties in cancer management.

  3. To foster camaraderie and collaboration among oncology-related disciplines, strengthening the MDT approach within institutions.

Categories:

  • Breast/skin and soft tissue

  • GIT/HPB

  • Head and neck/CNS

  • Gynecology/genitourinary

  • Lung/hematology/lymphoma

 

Multidisciplinary Team Requirements:

Per Hospital: 1 coach + 5 trainees, with 1 member from each of the following:

A. Pathology Resident
B. Medical Oncology Fellow
C. Radiation Oncology Resident
D. Surgery Resident or Surgical Oncology Fellow
E. Radiology Resident

Mechanics:

  1. The game aims to accumulate the most points by correctly answering questions across various categories.

  2. Game setup: Two or more teams, and 25 questions are coming from the different categories.

  3. Each category has questions of increasing difficulty, with higher point values corresponding to more challenging questions. The questions are scored 100, 300, 500, 800, and 1,000 points, respectively.

Prizes:

1st:  ₱20,000.00 (Trophy)
2nd: ₱12,500.00 (Plaque)
3rd: ₱7,500.00 (Plaque)
