UICC World Cancer Leaders Summit: PSO issues statement on Good Governance and Transparency and endorses the UICC World Cancer Declaration

Coincident with the inauguration of the UICC World Cancer Declaration 2025 2035 during the World Cancer Leaders Summit in Melbourne last November 20, 2025, the Philippine Society of Oncologists Inc issued its statement on Good Governance and Transparency, citing committed, transparent and accountable leadership as key to achieving national and global targets in cancer control.


The Summit was attended by Dr. Warren Bacorro, President of the Philippine Society of Oncologists Inc, along with Dr Corazon Ngelangel, President of the Philippine Cancer Society, Ms. Carmen Auste, CEO of Cancer Warriors, and Atty. Ma-Anne Rosales-Sto. Domingo, Regional Manager for Asia, MacCabe Center for Law and Cancer.
